Vistied 09/08/2008 with the family. They said better batter than The Magpie at Whitby! restaurant is spotless (althought a little overcrowded)service by beautiful waitresses is brilliant and the food to die for. Go there!

I visited Colemans last month and had the best fish and chips I have ever had. Not only that but the staff were so friendly and efficient it made it such an enjoyable experience. Roll on the next time I will be over, looking forward to it already.

I've just had your fish and chips for the first time. They were the most amazing fish and chips I have ever tasted. I have long been a fan of fish and chips and living in Durham we had a lot of nice fish and chip shops. My local recently shut and I was told about your place. I wasn't disappointed. I can't believe the value for money that you offer as well as making great fish and chips. Keep up the good work and I'll be back again very soon.

Whenever we visit the North East from Quorn Leicestershire a trip is made to COLMANS on Ocean Road for fish and chips and mushy peas and lemon slice which are eaten with great relish as a picnic on the sea front looking out at the glorious view over the North Sea

I live in New York and come home to visit my family in Hebburn twice a year. Without fail we always have Fish and Chips from you guys and enjoy them more each time. You are very friendly and serve the best Fish and Chips in the WORLD.
